The Fairtrade Foundation

The Fairtrade Foundation was established in 1992 by CAFOD, Christian Aid, Oxfam, Traidcraft and the World Development Movement. These founding organisations were later joined by Britain's largest women's organisation, the Women's Institute. The Foundation licenses the FAIRTRADE Mark, to products which meet internationally recognised standards.

Traidcraft plc

Traidcraft is a long established Fairtrade company established in 1979 whose motto is "fighting poverty through trade". Traidcraft products are sold in small shops, through a network of Fair Traders or via the online shop . Click here for details of your nearest Fair Trader.

Aztec Arts

Aztec Arts are a joint Mexican-British partnership, bringing you the finest Mexican and central American crafts and gifts direct from the craftspeople. You can browse their products and buy via their website and at Manchester's fair trade market in Piccadilly Gardens which takes place on the first Saturday of every month.

Toast Deli Marple

Toast - a brand new deli, cafe and wine bar has opened in Marple. Toast serves Fairtrade tea and coffee and sells other Fairtrade and organic products. Open from 8.30am-5.30pm for coffee, lunches and light snacks Monday to Saturday and can be booked as a wine bar in the evenings.

The Oromo Coffee Company (OCC) is a unique social enterprise, owned and managed a group of Oromo people, originally from the Oromia Region of Ethiopia and now living in England. We can supply to individual outlets, community groups, institutions, retailers and wholesalers.
