Fairtrade Fortnight ran from Monday 22 September – Sunday 5 October this year. SFTG was kept busy during the fortnight visiting schools, holding stalls at coffee mornings and addressing Stockport MBC.

The group’s hard work and commitment over many years has ensured Fairtrade products are stocked and sold in Stockport, as well as educating residents about the benefits of Fairtrade.

We have successfully applied for the renewal of our Fairtrade Borough status which was awarded to us for a further three years until 2026.
The assembly combines 50 percent producer representation with 50 percent national Fairtrade organisation representation.
